新中国成立后,中国硫矿 地质工作获得迅速发展,接踵探明了安徽向山、内蒙古东升庙、炭窑口、广东大降坪等大、中型 矿床和为数众多的中小型矿床与有色金属伴生的 硫铁矿矿床。另外,在天然硫和酸性自然气普查评价方面取得了很大成就。
